So, I am not a lifetime techie, but every cold wallet I saw was an internet connected wallet, touting the strongest encryption and the safest way to store your crypto. Well after months of reading, and I will say that Ellipal is not without their issues but the share of issues they have is FAR SMALLER than any other cold wallet. It is not connected to the internet. It is all done through QR and my keys are air gapped. I am very happy with how it is set up and that I can see and manage my assets from an app 24/7 but can't do anything without my QR reader... and really no one can because the layers of security are amazing. I gave 4 stars; I would give 5 but only when they put an on off switch to the Titan itself from the app. This would let me turn it off if it were stolen or allow me a way to make it useless if stolen. still, they would need to get into my app to be able to access my assets so 4 stars is definite but 5 when that gets managed. If they already have that managed, I will switch to 5!

The screen protector that came with mine was bent. Basically, worthless to put that in the box if it ships that way. It does function well and I’m happy with that. Not sure if I was supppsed to upgrade the software on it or not when I first get it?

I am happy with the purchase, but the briefcase where the code words are stored does not have enough space for the letters. There are 4 slots each and some words have 5 or 6 letters, but I will come up with something. Otherwise, I am happy with the purchase.

No HD (Hierarchical Deterministic) Bitcoin wallet - I am disappointed

This is not your fault, but I don’t like 3 party envelopment when buying crypto, on revolute I can buy direct and fees are minimal.
