Three things set it apart. First, your wallet is created on a dedicated offline Starter, so your keys are generated with zero network exposure, secure from the very first step. Second, it runs on the standard BIP39 seed phrase, so it works with wallets you already use and your seed stays yours, not locked into one app. Third, it fits how you actually hold crypto: use each card as its own separate wallet, or link several cards to one wallet as backups, so a single card is not a single point of failure.

If my ELLIPAL X Card is stolen, can a third party access my funds?

No. Access requires your PIN, which you set offline during activation, and it cannot be reset afterward. After 10 incorrect attempts, the card wipes itself.

How do I set up the ELLIPAL X Card, and do I need to be technical?

Not at all, it is made for first-time owners. You activate the card offline with the X Card Starter, which creates your seed phrase away from any phone or computer, in about 3 minutes. After that the app guides you, daily use is a single tap, and if you can use Apple Pay, you can use the ELLIPAL X Card.

Does my ELLIPAL X Card depend on ELLIPAL's servers?

No. The ELLIPAL X Card is fully self-custodial. Your seed phrase and PIN are created and held by you, and during offline setup ELLIPAL has no way to see or store either one. If anything ever happened to ELLIPAL's servers, your crypto stays on the blockchain and recovers on any BIP39-compatible wallet.

Which phones does the ELLIPAL X Card support, and how many cryptos can it hold?

The ELLIPAL X Card works with any iPhone XS or newer and any Android phone with NFC, so most phones from recent years are fine. On assets, it covers 10,000+ tokens across 45+ blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Cardano, BNB Chain, and Polygon.
