Updating the ELLIPAL Hardware Wallet

Read first

For ELLIPAL Original (EC01) users: firmware versions 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9 has to be updated to firmware version 2.0 before being able to update to version 2.4.

If your version is below 2.0, please update to version 2.0 before installing the new version 2.4.

Wallet will keep restarting and flashing during an update. Please do not panic and let it finish. Do not remove the battery as it can damage your unit.

Check The Version of Your ELLIPAL

On the ELLIPAL -> Go to Settings -> About -> Version

Pick one of the guides below according to your model and version:

ELLIPAL Titan (EC02)

Version 2.2 to Version 2.4

ELLIPAL Original (EC01)

Version 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 to Version 2.4

Version 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9 to Version 2.0

ELLIPAL Titan Update

Download firmware version 2.0

(Spare about 50% battery before starting the update. Keep the wallet plugged in to a power source to do the update. Update can take up to 20 minutes, please be patient and do not turn off the wallet. )

Version 2.4 Includes for cold wallet and companion App:

1. Added support for ELA (Elastos)

You can update your ELLIPAL App through any one of these methods:

1. On ELLIPAL App -> My -> About Us -> New Version Detected -> Update to new version.
