No. Access requires your Card-PIN, and the existing Card-PIN cannot be recovered.

After 10 incorrect attempts, the card resets to factory settings and removes the wallet data stored on the card. Your crypto remains on the blockchain.

No. The ELLIPAL X Card is a Self-custody Wallet.. Your seed phrase and PIN are created and held by you, and during offline setup ELLIPAL has no way to see or store either one. If anything ever happened to ELLIPAL's servers, your crypto stays on the blockchain and recovers on any BIP39-compatible wallet.

The ELLIPAL X Card works with any iPhone XS or newer and any Android phone with NFC, so most phones from recent years are fine. On assets, it covers 10,000+ tokens across 45+ blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Cardano, BNB Chain, and Polygon.

Your crypto lives on the blockchain, always. The ELLIPAL X Card just stores the Private Key that signs transactions, and it never leaves the CC EAL6+ Secure Chip. The firmware is locked at manufacture on purpose: updates are a common attack path for cold wallets, so the ELLIPAL X Card simply doesn't have one.

Yes. The tap only powers the card by NFC and passes a signing request. Your Private Key and Seed Phrase never leave the CC EAL6+ Secure Chip, and nothing goes back to your phone except the signed transaction. The card has no battery and no online connection of its own, so there is nothing for a remote attacker to reach.
